The CPA Australia - Centre of Excellence for ESG (Environment Social Governance) has issued a Resource document regarding Modern Slavery in Supply Chains, based on the Australian law but also having regard to international developments.
Authored by Jean Raar, Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Finance and Accounting Associate Professor, Swinburne University, Australia, with contribution from Sharon Ditchburn of Capital Advantage, it explores the context for the accounting industry, and refers to a study commissioned by CPA Australia from Dr Katherine Christ and Professor Roger Burritt of the University of South Australia and the Australian National University.
We highly recommend reading this Resource, and also the Compass which was developed by Drs Christ and Burritt.
If you are unable to access the document, please contact us on info@capitaladvantage.ae and we can provide a copy.
